Register your traveler profile
Create your profile with personal details, passport information and contact details. Your profile is saved and pre-fills downstream forms — you only need to enter this information once.
Required before completing a declaration. Have your passport available before starting.
Complete your travel declaration
Provide your travel details — arrival date, flight number, port of embarkation and countries visited in the 30 days prior to arrival. A unique reference code (KIR-2026-XXXXX) is issued automatically on submission.
Estimated completion time: 2–3 minutes once your profile is created.
Complete your health declaration
Submit your health declaration to the Ministry of Health & Medical Services. Enter your reference code from Step 02 — your personal and travel details are pre-filled automatically. Declare any symptoms or relevant health information.
Required under the Public Health Act. Complete after your travel declaration is submitted.
Departing Kiribati
Travellers leaving Kiribati complete a short departure declaration — flight or vessel, final destination, purpose of trip, and the AUD$5,000 currency question. No prior arrival record is required: residents, citizens and crew can declare directly.
